Introduction to computational modelling with applications in science, engineering and industry. Principles and practice of model specification, algorithm design, simulation and testing, for analysis, visualization, prediction and control of natural and artificial systems.

The basic laws of nature in relation to the real world formulated as mathematical equations, which may be stochastic or deterministic. Projects drawn from the physical and life sciences and commerce, demonstrating problem composition and analytical or computational features of problem solution.
